Other Public Transportations (Tram, Bus, Ferry):
Istanbul's iconic trams are a popular choice. Gliding through historic streets, these trams provide an enchanting journey while linking major attractions such as Sultanahmet Square, Eminönü, and Taksim Square. Istanbul's extensive bus network offers comprehensive coverage, reaching every corner of the city. Attendees can rely on buses for accessibility to conference venues, as well as exploration of local neighborhoods, providing a unique glimpse into the city's diverse culture. Embrace the breathtaking views of the Bosphorus Strait by opting for Istanbul's efficient ferry system. From and To the Airport
Public Airport Transportation
Istanbul Airport, located on the European side of Istanbul, offers convenient public transportation options to the city center. The Havaist shuttle service operates from Istanbul Airport to various locations in the city. Shuttles run frequently, providing a comfortable and efficient way to reach your destination. The M11 Metro Line connects Istanbul Airport to the city's metro network. Sabiha Gökçen Airport, situated on the Asian side of Istanbul, also offers accessible public transportation options. Sabiha Gökçen Airport is now connected to the cities railway infrastructure through the newly built M4 Kadıköy-Sabiha Gökçen Airport Line. Public buses connect Sabiha Gokçen Airport to key locations, making it a cost-effective choice for travelers.
Private Airport Bus Transfer:
We can also arrange buses that will take the participating schools from the new Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport to their hotel. Please fill the Bus Request Form at least 3-weeks in advance of arrival for airport transportation for the HisarJMUN team to plan accordingly. We remind all participants to be cautious when using other forms of airport transportation including but not limited to other private bus companies, taxi, or private minivans (vito) as airport transportation scams are popular in Istanbul. HisarJMUN bears no responsibility for these external transportation services.
